I am in DC for too many meetings. During one of the break, I ventured away to check out their local yarn shop - Stitch DC.

Isn't the logo awesome? They should do tote bags; I would buy one. I did purchase a bunch of yarn to crochet a scarf and ear muff. I promise I will share with you once I have started them.

Cape for a Fall Day

Orange Photo Envelope

I always travel with my orange photo envelope. There is usually at least one photo of each of my pets as well as images that I find just too beautiful to leave at home.

Disappointed with my Dior

I raced from the office in SoHo to the post office in South Williamsburg to pick up my package I had missed over the weekend. With 5 minutes to spare, I arrived at the post office. I waited in line for a few minutes before it was my turn; check missed delivery slip, check ID and the clerk was off to get my new Dior clutch. Once the package was safe in my hands, I ripped open the envelope to see my new Dior clutch. I was overcome with disappointment as I smelt the musty smell, saw the busted snap closure and felt the plasticly texture. The end result is this is not the bag I have been waiting for. I will sell this bag somewhere and will begin the search again.
