Another Enid Collins Bag

I think.

I purchased this bag for $1 on the street last year. I think it is an Enid Collins bag or one of the kits that were popular during the same time.

Sturdy Messenger Bag

I purchased this Brooklyn Industry messenger bag back when I produced events.

It was the best bag to fit my event binder, laptop, mobile phone, misc. chargers, sharpies and trusty notebook. It also carried my personal survival items like tea bags, iPod, sunglasses and rosary beads.

I always carry a set of rosary beads. In this bag, there is a plastic set that was given to me by the former Production manager of the GoGo's who happened to be jewish.

Walking for Iris House

A big THANK YOU to all my pals who stepped up and made a donation. I raised over $1,000 to support my employer, Iris House: A Center for Women Living with HIV/AIDS, at today's AIDS Walk New York 2008.

Let's get back to the topic of this blog. One of the incentives from the Walk is a tote bag. I hope this year's is as cool as this one from 2006; last year's was not.

There is still time to make a donation, just click here

Again, thank you. Your generosity inspired me!

The gang at Lady's Pride were so thoughtful. I think they originators of the whole "bring your own bag" movement circa. 1960's.
